This cute car from Fisher Price Toys Power Wheels Lightning McQueen is loads of fun, even for my young son. We purchased it a couple of weeks before his third birthday. The first day he mainly went in circles because he did not know how to control the steering, but he quickly mastered going and stopping along with forward and reverse. The next day he mastered the steering wheel, and now he is unstoppable!

I recommend this car for kids ages 3 to 6/7 (depending on the weight and height). Our seven year old son, who weighs around 60 pounds, loves it. He would ride it often IF his brother would let him. Because his brother isn't much for sharing this toy, my older son wrote to Santa (in July) and asked him to make a bigger version of Sally (the blue car in the movie) so that he and his brother could race.
